An
important part of the overall analysis is to correlate
findings from the assessment with the wear patterns
noted on the soles of the shoes. The therapist makes
a point of being well informed on the latest technologies
for both exercise and casual shoes. Therefore, the
therapist will be able to advise the patient on the
correct types of shoes to wear for their particular
foot type (it is advised that the patient bring one
or two pairs of regular and activity shoes to their
initial visit.)
Our
orthotics expert has had excellent success in providing
foot care, not only for the athlete, but for the general
population at large. This would include factory or
construction workers, waiters and salespeople who
are on their feet for most of the day. Seniors have
also benefited from our orthotics to enable them to
continue their daily walks in comfort as well as youngsters involved in activities such as hockey, figureskating, gymnastics, or soccer.
