The Physiotherapist is a rehabilitation specialist who
is concerned with the restoration of function and the
prevention of disability following injury.
Physiotherapists
are integral members of the professional staff at
the Parisport Sports Medicine Clinic. They are licensed
members of the OPQ (Ordre des Physiothérapeutes
du Quebec) which enables all their treatments
to be billed to the patient's private health insurance
plan.
Our
physiotherapists work closely with physicians and
therefore can see the patient through a physician
referral. However, through direct access, the patient
can be assessed and treated by our physiotherapists
without a
physician's referral.
